Facebook Added ‘Expecting A Baby’ To Life Events

These days Facebook is rolling new features and updates very fast. Recently they have announced an update in the timeline life events. They just added “Expecting A Baby” as a life event in Family and  relationships section on timeline.
The social site said in an announcement on their Facebook Newsroom page:

Life Events are easy and expressive ways to mark significant moments in your life such as getting married, buying a house or traveling to new places. If you choose to, you can now share that you are expecting a baby with your friends on Facebook.

How to Share I am expecting a Baby Or had a Baby On Facebook?

First you have to add a life event when you are expecting a baby or had a baby to your timeline. For that just go to your Facebook timeline and click Life Event (It is just after the  place in your update box). Then, from Family and relationship select Expecting a baby Or New Child, as shown in the screenshot below.

Now,add you details and hit Save.

Now, this will be shown on all your friends’ homepage near upper right corner where they see the birthdays.

Note: Don’t forget to check the audience for your post while updating it such as you want to share your celebration with Public, with friends or with custom friends.

It will be shown on your friends homepage like this.
