Facebook rolled out a new feature that enables you to find your nearby friends,current known as “FriendShake” and can be accessed through this short URL (http://fb.com/ffn) that is the abbreviation of Find Friends Nearby (FFN).Its facebook another step in expanding facebook on mobile with new services to meet new people.
The feature follows a little under two months after Facebook announced the acquisition of Glancee, a mobile app that helps users discover people near them with similar interests.
To access the app,users have to login to Facebook and hit to Friendshake.After signed in,you will be shown the friends nearby your place,both your facebook friends and Non-Facebook friends(See screenshot).Its very beneficial to add the people whom you meet at a particular place or event.

Before it,Facebook had an another location based feature that works somewhat like to it.Facebook’s Check-In feature, when enabled, lets users see contacts who have visited the same places.
